　　SEPTEMBER 1, 2011 the winners of the prestigious American Architecture Awards for 2011 were announced. Three projects from china including SHANGHAI HOUTAN PARK by Turenscape leading by Professor Kongjian Yu won this prestigious award. 　　The American Architecture Awards is organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and The European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies, The American Architecture Awards are the highest and most esteemed recognition for the best new building design produced by leading architects, urban planners, and　landscape architects in the United States.久久建筑網(wǎng)－－中國建筑行業(yè)門戶網(wǎng)站

　　The 45 selected projects and the architecture firms behind them represent exceptional work by architects practicing in the United States in four categories: interiors, architecture, un-built work and urban design. Each winning project was chosen for its exemplary originality, highest aesthetic criteria, and contribution to the Green movement. The criteria used by the jury included design quality, program resolution, innovation, thoughtfulness and technique. Projects had to be completed by architects/designers as of 2009, including practitioners either practicing or having offices in the United States.
